Bringing out your inner Tigress with Tiger from Gwen Carillon Designs

The big moon has really brought on the creative streak recently for Gwen Carillon of Gwen Carillon Designs.

Makes me want to purr...

The lovely skirt dips in the lower back. The furry glove tops add a touch of sexy. The layers in the skirt just float with your body.

If you are looking for something that is similar to silks but can bring the tigress in you, this is it.

Floats with you as you dance....

Just beautiful

And just so sexy...

House of Beningborough Adorn Me in Blue and Lilac (Mesh)

Bliss Beningborough remains one of the most creative and prolific designers in Second Life. She keeps up with the technology and continues to add content in the form of new gowns and other accessories, which is something I have always appreciated, especially since I am going on four years old in SL. Nothing disappoints more than going to a store and seeing the same old, same old stuff…especially when I have lindens to spend!

Adorn Me is a mesh gown, which means you need one of the more advanced viewers or it looks like you are wearing circles. This is my first time wearing mesh. I have to say, I love how it drapes and how it moves with my body. No more legs sticking out!

Elegant textures and form fitting

Bliss Beningborough has always delivered some of the best designs in Second Life from elegant to avant garde. There is something for everyone at her store.

Beautiful in front of in back...

 Lovely in Lilac as well…

Just Beautiful!

I love the details around the neckline.

If you want selection, beauty, creativity, elegance, couture, and all that makes fashion amazing in Second Life, look no further than House of Benningborough.

Vintage chic from Sascha’s Designs

It’s been quite a while since I last posted on Opium Insight and I have to say…I missed it greatly. I hope to make post frequently on here once again! Today I’ve got the honor of showing off my new coat from Sascha’s Designs! Since fall is now upon us and we’re looking forward to cooler weather, this jacket definitely fits the season. As many of you know, the Vintage Fair is also going on right now, so I’ve been somewhat stuck in a 70′s kind of mood as of late. This jacket seriously has a funkalicious vintage vibe, but can also be worn in a more toned down, classy manner if you so desire!

Most people tend to favor warmer colors in the autumn for obvious reasons (I’m a fan of the warmer tones, I admit) & I’m loving the jacket in this tone, however it also comes in white, pink, lavender, black and purple for those who tend to gravitate towards those colors, so there’s something for everyone.

I had such fun putting this style together. Sometimes when you find a certain item that’s screaming to be worn, building a look from that central item (whether it’s an article of clothing, hairstyle, skin or piece of jewelry) can totally put you in a bubbly mood and make you feel accomplished. I know I feel pretty perky and I’m not usually so chipper on a Monday!

White~Widow Tattoos by Julie Hastings give you a reason you can’t put off using the 2.1 viewer any longer.  They are sharp, meticulous, work on any skin base for maximum adaptability, and they are stunningly beautiful.  These works of art for your face transform any skin into a masterpiece of tattooed glory.

There are currently 12 different models to choose from, with each coming in 4-5 colours, and 7 come in full, right, or left side only versions.  This great versatility means that one of them will work for any outfit, especially as each one comes in silver, gold and/or copper (amongst other colours such as blue, green, pink, purple, turquoise).

Please click on the above images to view the full size tattoos in the Copper colour.

The White~Widow Tattoos are shown on the Baiastice-Pulchra-porcelaine-make up1 RD + hair, which is a beautifully smooth and light make up base.  The Baiastice-Lucrezia hair attachment-RED (porcelaine) keeps the focus on the face, whilst the addition of Zaara’s Nizam Jhumka earrings (tinted) and Fellini Couture’s GoldWire gown with headpiece shows how these tattoos fit effortlessly with couture fashion ensembles.  Please stop by Julie’s shop and see all of the variations and colours of these marvelous tattoos, and download that version 2.1 if you haven’t already, because you are going to need it now!

gildi

Fellini Couture’s GoldWire gown is a stunning creation.  The bodice is a delicate sheer lightly embroidered pattern, with a richly textured skirt with deep hues of gold, russet, and browns.

Paillettes and embroidery cover the skirt, head attachment, and the shoulder flower.  Flowers are also found scattered around the base of the skirt.  A semi-sheer wrap covers the top of the bodice on the diagonal, flowing into a drape down the back.

The waist is accented with a tied belt to complete the look.  The Nizam Jhumka earrings and Haath-phool (hand-jewel) from Zaara have been tinted from their normal white to fit more naturally with the rich bronzed tones of this gown.

The gildi of the wrap can be seen here, befitting the name of the GoldWire gown. The Baiastice-Lucrezia hair attachment-RED (porcelaine) works with the tones of the gown (go reds!) and a brown toned lipstick coordinates well.

Fellini Couture continues to push the boundaries of elegant couture with delightful and lovely fanciful designs.
