There are many good things about second life and one of them is the opportunity for people to role play.  EZURA by Ezura Xue is a store of many wonders for RPing.  As a designer Ezura caters for many genres, from goth to fantasy to neko to Gor. Today i blog two of her outfits, two totally different from each other,  first Steam punk Shugosha.

Steampunk Shugosha  is a full set of clothing styles, I’m wearing the full length skirt but you can also wear a mini skirt. you get a bra, bolero jacket, trousers, gauntlet gloves, and a assorted of belts. So any combination is possible. Steampunk Shugosha  is a clear perfect designed steam punk creation, i have added + ezura + Steampunk Goggles *Bronze and + ezura + Yuna Leather Boots *Brown.

The other outfit is + ezura + Lace-Top Brocade *White, a sexy white angelic lingerie styled dress. The dress has a wide range of looks available. Classic lace decoration on the bodice and jacket which is added to the tops of the stockings.

The skirt comes in short and long while combining the transparency of sheer layers. The lace tied front is also display on the back which leads down to a bustle.

Also at the store if your looking for bargains on the second floor you will find the VIP section and the dollar section and a assortment of lower price items. Nothing better then a bargain :) If you have never been to Ezura’s store it a must. So many different styles, your bound to find something you like.

Tzarina

One of the best things about SL is the ability to wear things that we just can’t in RL. I’m about to show you such a gown….a gown made for royalty in its real life incarnation, yet made for all of us who like to play dress up (or role play) here in Second Life. I introduce you to the Tzarina from The Curious Seamstress ( and of course I had to go on location to take these pics….I’d always wanted to visit Red Square!)

Tzarina

It’s a gown of emerald green velvet and has an 11 foot train! The underskirts are of a luminescent smooth satin, and there is a dark green emerald  plush trim around the lower skirts.  In real life, I’m sure its a sight to behold , as it was worn by the Princess Marie Maximilianova Romanovska, Princess of Leuchtenberg, and in Second Life..its an amazing gown as well! Each detail is so perfectly placed and the skirts are well built (and equipped with resizers to fit every shape).

The gown comes with a court presentation skirt, a soft bustled skirt, and three other skirts to add fullness (and of course some pretty undergarments).

The Soft Bustled Skirt

Just look at the flow of this skirt!

And my favorite skirt option: the court presentation….

and from the back….

This is truly a gown made for the princess in all of us.  You may find the Tzarina at The Curious Seamstress, located here: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Northern%20Lights/68/229/24

Happy Shopping!

"Romeo" by Donna Flora

Posted in OFA Models, Opium Fashion Agency, Reviews on March 11th, 2010 by Trouble "TJ" Inglewood

Squinternet Larnia of Donna Flora has done it again, upping the ante on creativity and robust textures expressed vividly in vintage and period wear, creating Romeo:  a romantic and chivalrous design modeled for the best of Shakespeare’s hero.

I am a romantic kind of guy:  polite and courteous and well schooled in charm (ask my partner for confirmation as needed).  I’ve never been a role player; but I must admit, this “Romeo” humbled me, made me review my Shakespearean cliff notes, and I hearkened for Juliet calling my name from her window so this time I could save her before it was too late.  This pale green and gold outfit, complete with pants top, hat, belt, gold medallion chain, and shoes is a well made, beautifully textured set with contrasting colors that reflects the drama consistent with conflict, paradox and ultimately with lost love.  Yet, here the highly detailed texture on the arms and chest unite in harmony:  maybe Romeo and Juliet were really meant to be together after all.

See this design and other fantastic designs from Donna Flora, representing beautiful formal wear, vintage and retro from the roarin’ 20s thru today by visiting THE DONNA FLORA STORE !!!
