Arpege ~ Little Fantasy, Big Dream

Opium Evolution will soon embark upon their whimsically enchanting Fantasy Show. Featuring imaginative creations from talented designers, it promises to be a feast for the eyes. Fellini Couture is one of those designers and will be showing off their petite line of dresses. This particular one is called Arpege; the larger version was originally created for the Miss Virtual World 2012 pageant. Trails of illuminated flowers glow softly around the bodice as they cascade down the sheer skirt. A beautiful bloom adorns the head for that princess touch. This gorgeous dream come true proves that great things really do come in small packages.

New Mesh from Mashooka

The sexy Shalini dress from Mashooka is their newest mesh release, and it doesn’t disappoint. This slinky number features a low, plunging neckline with slight draping for a daring look. The bare back allows you to expose a hidden tattoo or wear back jewelry for a sultry surprise from behind. The real surprise is the long slit with buckled straps up the thigh, amping up the hotness factor. Mesh certainly is progressing into a magnificent material that allows designers to create wonderful marvels like this one. Get your hands on this dress from Mashooka if you want to turn heads.

Vintage chic from Sascha’s Designs

It’s been quite a while since I last posted on Opium Insight and I have to say…I missed it greatly. I hope to make post frequently on here once again! Today I’ve got the honor of showing off my new coat from Sascha’s Designs! Since fall is now upon us and we’re looking forward to cooler weather, this jacket definitely fits the season. As many of you know, the Vintage Fair is also going on right now, so I’ve been somewhat stuck in a 70′s kind of mood as of late. This jacket seriously has a funkalicious vintage vibe, but can also be worn in a more toned down, classy manner if you so desire!

Most people tend to favor warmer colors in the autumn for obvious reasons (I’m a fan of the warmer tones, I admit) & I’m loving the jacket in this tone, however it also comes in white, pink, lavender, black and purple for those who tend to gravitate towards those colors, so there’s something for everyone.

I had such fun putting this style together. Sometimes when you find a certain item that’s screaming to be worn, building a look from that central item (whether it’s an article of clothing, hairstyle, skin or piece of jewelry) can totally put you in a bubbly mood and make you feel accomplished. I know I feel pretty perky and I’m not usually so chipper on a Monday!

BlakOpal Designs; Josephine

So on the 23rd of February till the 27th of February their will be London Fashion week 2011. Brought to you by our wonderful Opium models at the london sim. BlakOpal Designs will be featured during Fashion week and Josephine is just one of the outfits you will see being showed on our runways.

I am a big fan of Josephine. You can mix and match the outfit to create so many different looks It would be impossible to show you all of the mix and match options. You can go from pirate girl to steampunk goddess in just a few small changes  to the outfit.

For the first Picture I have paired the half jacket with the black bra that has lace detailing along the bust. I have also put the corset which allows you to not show a whole lot of skin if you want. Then I put the longer skirt on and put on the lace stockings that came with the outfit as well.

For the Second picture I just took off the jacket add the gloves and put on the shorter skirt. Look a completely new look.I love this outfit for that reason and the textures are gorgeous. I suggest to come look at the other amazing outfits that are offered by BlakOpal Designs.
